What is it ?

It is a financial investment in Algerian dinars, as a claim that can be made by a natural or legal person in registered bearer or anonymous form.

Any natural or legal person.
Validity
The minimum validity of the BDL cash voucher is three (03) months.
Remuneration

The remuneration of the BDL cash voucher is as follows :

03 to 06 months : 2% ;
06 to 12 months : 2.25% ;
12 to18 months : 2.5% ;
18 to 24 months : 2.75% ;
24 to 36 months : 3.25% ;
36 to 42 months : 3.5% ;
42 to 48 months : 3.75% ;
48 to 54 months : 4% ;
54 to 60 months : 4.25% ;
Between 50 million DZD and 100 million over 03 years: 4.70%;
More than 100 million DZD over 05 years: 5%.

The BDC is represented by forms detachable from a counterfoil book. When the subscribed BDC formula cannot be delivered immediately and a payment receipt has been issued, this document must be collected at the time of the delivery of the BDC.

Remuneration of BDL cash certificates is as follows:

The Cash Voucher can be subscribed in registered or anonymous form, for minimum period of (03) months.
The subscription of the BDC does not give rise to any particular formality. However, the subscription of a BDC in registered form and by the occasional customer is subject to the establishment of the signature card which is at the level of the commercial agency.

• The capital is returned in full;
• The remuneration of a savings certificate is progressive. The longer the maturity, the higher the interest rate;
• Funds remain available. Possibility of requesting the reimbursement of a cash voucher before the due date;
• BDC anonymity/discretion;
• The freedom to subscribe to the various BDCs by the client, without justification of the origin of his funds;
• No loss on investment.

Pledge: Cash vouchers can be assigned to the Bank as collateral for commitments given (mortgage, consumer credit, etc.);
• Opposition: opposition to a Cash Voucher may occur at the initiative of the subscriber, in the event of loss or theft upon submission of a request containing all the characteristics of the Voucher with a declaration of loss;
• Inheritance: Only the Bonds of physical persons, registered and endorsed are likely to be the subject of a payment within the framework of the inheritance;
• Taxation: In the case of taxation not paid by the subscribing client, the bank will deduct at source a tax on the interest paid to the clientele and will proceed to its payment to the tax authorities on behalf of the customer.
Yes, the renewal is carried out at the written request of the subscriber before the expiry date of the BDC.
Otherwise, and at maturity, the Bank is exceptionally authorized to renew the old investment once and for a maximum period of three months at the rates corresponding to the period.
The renewal must first be preceded by the reimbursement of the expired BDC. The same treatment must be observed as if it is a new subscription.
The redemption of a BDC can only be made if it is presented, at maturity or in advance at the request of the client.
Early redemption is authorized under the following conditions:

• In case that the request occurs within a period of less than three (03 months), the BDC does not give rise to any remuneration;
• When the period is equal to or greater than three (03) months, the remuneration is paid by application of the period run and at the rates of remuneration corresponding to this period, reduced by 1%;
• The Savings Certificate can be redeemed in advance. In this case, the interest is readjusted according to the actual duration of the investment and a penalty is then applied in accordance with the Bank's conditions in force. Reimbursement is made on the basis of a request signed by the customer.

The BDC can be used as a deed of pledge with the Bank, as a guarantee for commitments given (balance sheet and off-balance sheet) drawn up by the Bank and signed jointly with the customer.
The formalities for registering the deed of pledge must be completed by the customer, who may claim the setting up of his financing against delivery of the duly registered deed and the cash vouchers given as collateral to the Bank.
The cash voucher must be recorded on a monthly schedule on which the following information will be given :
• Subscription date;
• Voucher number;
• Surname and first name (for nominative vouchers), form (for others);
• Interest rate ;
• Amount ;
• Due date;
In case of loss or theft of a Cash Voucher, a notice of opposition may be issued at the subscriber's initiative, containing all the characteristics of the Voucher, accompanied by a declaration of loss or a receipt for the filing of a complaint. , if necessary, of a judicial decision ordering the opposition.
